Chocolate bunnies and a Risen Savior!

This year Easter was traditionally un-traditional. It was nice. Easy. Joyful. It involved friends, old and new, and family. Here is a little peek at our day. (Sorry there weren't more pictures!)

I only recently got Internet at my own home. Therefore, I shall update you with what has been recent in my life :)

For my dad's birthday I made this salad. Spinach, strawberries, feta, poppy seed dressing. Pretty much no one liked it but me. Oh well!

My biggest-littlest brother attended his Junior Prom. Doesn't he look dashing?? And soo tall!

Now this I was so excited about! I got my Grandpa Joe's (my mom's dad) famous recipe for Clam Dip. It's more than just that, though, and is DELICIOUS! You eat it with really crunchy chips... Mmm! Anyway, a local store was supposed to be carrying the main ingredient- actual clam dip. Then you add things to it... But, apparently they quick selling it :( So unfortunately I need another go at it. Soon, I hope! Thanks, Grandpa, for sharing it with me!

And I have finally decided. I will make a genuine attempt at learning guitar. My dad is lending me this beauty. It helps to actually have something to learn with :)

Lonel

Guess who's coming to dinner?? Ok, you got me.. She's coming for a whole eleven days!!

JULIA!

She lives in Sweden, you know... that's kind of far away. But she is one of my bestest friends in the whole world and not even an ocean could keep us from reuniting! In honor of her coming to visit me- not to mention meet my family and boyfriend for the first time- I made a paper chain. Yes, sort of childish of me, I know. But have you made one of those to count anything down recently? They are SO fun! I mean, usually you only take time to count down things that are already exciting, but this just adds to the excitement! Go paper chains!

I've already started making a list of things to do while she is here, but just today (when I counted my chain links) I realized how fast June is approaching. Eek! I have another "to-do" list just to make her accommodations. So, on to that list I go... Just had to share the good news!

Happy counting!
